VIEW FLAGS
Mindful Muslim Review

The protagonist of this story is hard working, resilient, and intelligent. However, she is also aggressive, disrespectful of authority, and lacks emotional discipline. In the midst of a fast-paced story about an existential threat to a human colony, she slowly grows in self-discipline and eventually learns to tame her nafs (ego) and respect those who have authority over her.

Mindful Muslim Reader recommends this book as a standalone though it is part of a series.
